Compulsive Heterosexuality

I just got out of my LGBT discussion, very interesting to say the least. Yes, sometimes they are, eh.... ok, I wanna get outta here! Today was about "compulsory heterosexuality". I didn't read the readings for today; I was too busy with other things for other classes. The TA opened with this video shown from the Superbowl.

Time for my rant:
-Why does putting down the seat have to sound like it's a chore? You can pee with the seat down; you're lazy ass just can't aim. Can't you put it down for the common courtesy of women? Or does this mean that you're letting your feelings show (heaven forbid!)?
- The PMS thing: If women do get angry, men automatically assume it's the time of the month for us. I wondered on this topic and came to the conclusion that men have to blame us for US being mad. (After all, how DARE we disagree with you?!) Believe it or not guys, women DO just get mad!
- The Vampire shows: This is fucked up. Why can't a guy like vampire shows? They are portraying that "you're a guy, you are doing something wrong if you like a girl thing and enjoy doing it, willingly." They are setting up the masculinity bar.
-"Bitch"- When I am assertive, I get called a bitch, and I actually take it as such. I catch myself being this way, and I call myself out on "being a bitch". Why can't we have a stand on a matter? It's the 21st century, we need to get out of the mind set that women are inferior to men and must maintain composure and not be out of line. What happened to our passion, women?!

Let's not have men objectify us, just so they can show their masculinity to their friends! This is NOT ok in this day in age! Take a stand in being a human being, not a puppet to men. Men, you need to realize that you need to fucking get off your damn high horse and realize that women are now at the same place as you are. We deserve everything that you get, every benefit, every opportunity. Do what you feel is right, men! If you want to hold that girl's hand, then do it. If you actually like her mother, go for it. If you actually respect women, show it. This world needs another revolution for women. Men, you do not need to put down women, just to show us or others your masculinity! If you do, I personally see you as a coward; a fucking piece of shit coward.

Why has to come to guys groping, verbally assaulting, and pressuring girls to do things? Since when has it EVER been, in your lifetime, that a girl is the property of a man? Get your hands off of us, stop making kissy noises at us, stop calling us out as "Sexy mama, fine bitch, or whore" We are NOT as such. You guys can go around having sex with whomever you wish, you get labeled as a "man whore", we go around and we get labeled as "slut, tramp, whore". You're right, we should never be able to show ourselves fully to anyone, that's whorish.

Since when is it cool to "love 'em and leave 'em"? We are NOT to be treated as such. I am not saying that women are OK with doing this to men, because it's not. We are not meant to be tossed around as such. We are valuable human beings, not a prized possession to use and throw away once you've came.

Men! Get your head out of your asses! Stop thinking that you can "get" any girl you please! Cockiness is going to get you NO WHERE in life. Life =|= sex. You aren't that good and the girls you do get, are going to be scarred from your egotistical fucked up nature. I mean, good fucking god; every time one of you even THINKS that you can "get any bitch you want", I want to scream to every girl that they are worth more than your stupid ass. It makes me want to deny all the advances from guys in the future, just so I can prove your ass wrong. We are not to be "gotten"! You do NOT have a right to our bodies! No ONE has a right to your body! Men! Stop thinking you do have a right to anyone else's body!

We are to be won, to be loved and to be treasured. If a girl doesn't treat you like you're worth everything to them, then you deserve better. We as a race, must set our standards higher!

Women, raise your heads. Hold yourself up, it's hard to, I know. Do not subject yourself to any man. We deserve the same pay as they do. We deserve to not put our life on hold just so we can "start a family". We deserve to be told we are beautiful, to be assured that we do NOT need botox or lipo. Hold your head up high. Don't let men bring your down, make you feel inferior, weak, or powerless.
